During November of 2016, Paris Burris of the Tulsa World reports that a female Tulsa Police Officer was placed on administrative duty for violation of a protective order.  The victim filed the protective order in September, the day after receiving numerous threats by phone allegedly from the officer.  These calls included: “unknown-caller”, “caller ID blocked”, and immediate hang ups upon answer.  Eventually, these calls escalated throughout the day, and included verbal threats and derogatory screaming before hanging up.  The Tulsa Police Department is currently investigating the allegations against the officer.

  • Making multiple calls or texts to multiple numbers associated with one person in order to harass that one person
